I will provide a brief history of this organization, founded by Jews to rescue Jews from Pogroms, its evolution from all volunteer social services to professional legal services and beyond. And then, having provided that context discuss the work that we do today and how and why our faith-based history compels us to fight harder than ever the policies and myths surrounding immigrants and refugees.
